Salafi Islamic Kids Tawhid Book Series and Sharia Dawa

Bismillaah. All praise is to Allaah Lord and Cherisher of the worlds. I testify that none and nothing has the right to be worshiped except Allah alone and Muhammad is His Final Messenger.

In this life it is too easy to lose sight of the very important things in life. We often mistakenly forget our original mission in life in obtaining attributes and actions that will through the mercy of Allaah place us in Jannah. We forget about the important things like: piety, khushuu, taqwa, ihsan, forgiveness, hidayah, ilm, hikmah and other excelent attributes that would place us in a better position on the Day of Judgement.

O Muslim may Allaah have mercy on you.

The Prophet (May the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “There is no preference of an Arab over a non-Arab or a non-Arab over an Arab or a white over a black or a black over a white except by the (degree) of piety, you are all sons of Aadam, and Aadam came from dust.” [Ahmad]

O Muslim may Allaah have mercy on you. The Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam) said: The piety is here, (and while saying so) he pointed towards his chest thrice. It is a serious evil for a Muslim to look down upon his Muslim brother. All things of a Muslim are inviolable from his brother in faith, his blood, his wealth and his honour. (should be respected) (Saheeh Muslim)

O Muslim may Allaah have mercy on you, forgive you for everything you fall short in, give you correct understanding of this religion and bless you to be content with his decrees for you. Rasoolullah (peace upon him) said, ‘The best of you are this of you with the best of manners and character.’ And He (peace be upon him) said, ‘Anytime you take kindness out of a matter that matter becomes defective.’

Defective means its no good, broken; unreliable.

O Muslim may Allaah bless you. How was Musa (alayhi salaam) instructed to treat Firaun? Allaah (swt) said, to Musa, ‘And speak kindly with wisdom to Firaun that he may take heed.’

Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):

“ ‘Go, both of you, to Fir‘awn (Pharaoh), verily, he has transgressed (all bounds in disbelief and disobedience and behaved as an arrogant and as a tyrant).

And speak to him mildly, perhaps he may accept admonition or fear (Allaah).’

Firaun was the worst most evil tyrant this world has ever seen! Not only did he enslave the children of Israel; he used magicians to mass hypnotise his entire kingdom!

“…So when they threw, they bewitched the eyes of the people, and struck terror into them, and they displayed a great magic”[Qur'an al-A’raaf 7:116]

And even more importantly he denied the existence of Allaah the Mighty and Majestic! He claimed he was God himself! He claimed the power to give life and death was ultimately only his. He said, ‘Chopping your head off is my giving you death and not chopping your head off is giving you your life.’ What a stupid and ignorant belief! Laa hawala wala cu wata illah billaah! Subhan Allaah truly the Lordship belongs only to Allaah (swt). We seek refuge in Him (swt) from being misguided and being of the murjrimun. May Ya Fattah, Ar-Rahman, Ar-Rahiim, Ya Salaam, Ya Haqq, Ya Rashid and Ya Muqaddim; forgive us, open our hearts to accept the haqq, grant us to be on your straight path (sirratul mustaqiim), increase us in correct understanding of al-Islam quickly and easily! Ya Rabbi! Ya Rabbi!
Amiin Thumma Amiin!

Political strife and unrest plagues us worldwide today. Do not be decieved into believing these demonstrations are ‘good,”progressive,’ and helping the Arabs attain freedom.’ Do not be decieved into believing it is halaal to kill eachother. O Muslim may Allaah forgive you. In these conflicts no party is free from blame both sides have erred however, one side is more evil then the other. This is due to the kufr they are committing. Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings on him) said,
“Do not return to being kaafir after me by some of you hitting the necks of (killing) others.” Agreed upon.

The Rasoolullah (peace upon him) also said, ‘There will come to Allaah two parties of Muslims killed by eachother. They will be awaiting their judgment. One party will complain of their been murdered by the other party. It will be said both of you go into the Hell-fire. You both had the means and the intention to kill eachother.’

“When two Muslims meet with their swords then (both) the killer and the killed are in the fire.”
Reported from Aboo Bakrah in Bukhari no. 6875

O Muslim may Allaah have mercy on you to accept this sincere and truthful advise. Stop getting political! Stop protesting! Stop critisizing your leader! Stop calling others kafir without any evidence! Did you not hear the words of our Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings on him), “Whoever says to his brother, ‘Oh Disbeliever,’ then it returns back to one of them.”
Reported from Ibn Umar by Bukharee, no. 6104, Muslim

Do not call Muslims leaders kafirs, doing so nullifies your Islam!’ Allaah alone knows wherein emaan lies and in whose hearts. It is only the duty and call of the rightly guided scholars (may Allaah be pleased with them all) to point out if someone has disbelieved after having believed! O Muslim may Allaah have mercy on you. Be not hasty as haste comes from shaytaan. May as-Sabur bless us and ya Halim bless us to be patient and forbearing during all times. Especially in these end of days filled with calamity, estrangement, ignorance and hate. May ya Rashid and ya Haqq quide us all to the straight path immediately.

Allaah says (what means): {Many of the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) wish that if they could turn you away as disbelievers after you have believed, out of envy from their ownselves, even, after the truth (that Muhammad is Allaah’s Messenger) has become manifest unto them. But forgive and overlook, till Allaah brings His Command. Verily, Allaah is Able to do all things.} [Qur’an 2:109]

In their hearts is a disease (of doubt and hypocrisy) and Allaah has increased their disease. A painful torment is theirs because they used to tell lies.

And when it is said to them: ‘Make not mischief on the earth,’ they say: ‘We are only peacemakers.’

Verily, they are the ones who make mischief, but they perceive not.

And when it is said to them (hypocrites): ‘Believe as the people (followers of Muhammad, Al-Ansaar and Al-Muhajiroon) have believed,’ they say: ‘Shall we believe as the fools have believed?’ Verily, they are the fools, but they know not.

And when they meet those who believe, they say: ‘We believe,’ but when they are alone with their Shayaateen (devils — polytheists, hypocrites), they say: ‘Truly, we are with you; verily, we were but mocking.’

Allaah mocks at them and gives them increase in their wrong-doing to wander blindly.

Be not decieved O Muslim may Allaah have mercy on you. Allaah (swt) orders us to help eachother in kindness with mutual cooperation. The believers are but helpers and supporters towards eachother. The kaafiroon are but helpers and supporters towards eachother. O Muslim may Allaah have mercy on you. What an ugly disgraceful day has passed when the Muslim aids the kafir against other Muslims. The blood of the Muslims is sacred and it is prohibited from spilling it. To even accidentally scratch a Muslim is blameworthy.

Allah Ta`ala has ordered those of the Islamic faith to be friends of one another only. He says: “The Believers, men and women, are protectors, one of another (Qur’an 9:71).

While, the Kuffar, they may belong to any group have been designated as friends of each other by Him: “The unbelievers are protectors, one of another: unless ye do this, (protect each other), there would be tumult and oppression on earth, and great mischief.” The famous Mufassir Imaam Ibn-Kathir Rahimahullahu Ta`ala has interpreted it in this way: If you do not adopt separation from the Kuffar, and befriend the Muslims a great mischief will be caused among the people. ‘Mischief’, here means the intermingling of the Muslims with the Kuffar, and of the truth becoming doubtful. Thus a mixing of the Muslims and Kuffar will lead to a mischief of great magnitude.

Allah Ta`ala says: O ye who believe! Take not the Jews and the Christians for your friends and protectors; they are but friends and protectors to each other. (Qur’an 6:54)

Allaah (swt) says, ‘Even if the whole of mankind joined to harm you they cannot without the permission of Allaah. And if they joined to help you they cannot without the permission of Allaah.’ So fear Allaah who created you from a bloodclot and has brought you up to what you are today. Nothing and none can hurt you without the permission of Allaah. Knowing this does not make it acceptable to harm a Muslim. “Abusing a Muslim is fisq, and killing him is kufr.” Reported by Muslim

O Muslim may Allaah bless you. Would you accept a thief who steals all your property to get away with it by simply replying that it was the will of Allaah? No! Your responce should be, ‘And it is but the will of Allaah that you get your hand chopped off!’

O Muslim may Allaah have mercy on you to accept this advice and repent today while rectifying your ways. There is no guidance but the guidance of Allaah (swt).

O Muslim may Allaah be pleased with you. If you save one life it is as if you have saved all of mankind and if you kill one life it is as if you have killed all of mankind. Rasoolullah (peace upon him) said, ‘Obey your leader in everything but in the disobedience of Allaah.’ And he (peace be upon him) said,’If you see some evil from him be patient and hope in Allaah.’ And he (peace be upon him) said, ‘Obey your leader in everything but the harram even if he flays your back and takes your property.’

And that we do not contend with or attempt to take away the command from those assigned with it (i.e., the rulers) due to the saying of the Messenger (salallaahu’alayheewasallam), “There are three things towards which the heart of a Muslim never shows hatred or rancour: Making ones action sincerely for the sake of Allah, giving obedience to the rulers (wulatul-amr) and sticking to the Group (Jama’ah) for verily, their supplication encompasses those who are behind them (i.e. those whom they rule over).” This hadeeth has been reported from a group among the Companions and see Sunan at Tirmidhee (no. 2657), al Musnad (4/80, 82 183), Jaami’ ul Usool (1/265) and Majma’uz Zuwaa’id (1/137-139).

This is confirmed in His (ALLAHTA’AALA’S) saying: “O you who believe! Obey Allah and obey the Messenger, and those of you (Muslims) who are in authority.” [Qur'an An-Nisaa (4):59]

And that the sword is not to be raised against (any of) the Ummah of Muhammad (peace be upon him).

And Al-Fudayl said, “If I had a supplication that would be answered, I would not make it except for the leader (Imam) because when the leader becomes righteous, the towns and servants become safe and secure.”

Ibn al Mubaarak said (in reference to the above saying of al-Fudayl), “O teacher of goodness, who would show boldness towards this besides you?”

Imam al Barbahaaree (d. 329H) said, “Whoever rebels against a Muslim ruler is one of the Khawaarij, has caused dissent within the Muslims, has contradicted the narrations and has died the death of the days of ignorance.” (Sharhus-Sunnah [p.42])

The Khawaarij are a group who first appeared in the time of ‘Alee (radiallaahu’anhu). They split from his army and began the grave innovation of takfeer (i.e. declaring Muslims, rulers or the ruled who are guilty of major sins, to be disbelievers). The Prophet (peace be upon him) warned against them in many authentic Ahaadeeth, “The Khawaarij are the dogs of Hellfire.” (Reported by Ahmad and it is Saheeh.)

Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings on him) also informed us that they would continue to appear until the end of this world, saying, “A group will appear reciting the Qur’an, it will not
in many authentic Ahaadeeth, “The Khawaarij are the dogs of Hellfire.” (Reported by Ahmad and it is Saheeh.)

Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings on him) also informed us that they would continue to appear until the end of this world, saying, “A group will appear reciting the Qur’an, it will not pass beyond their throats, every time a group appears it will be cut off, until the Dajjal appears within them.” (Reported by Ibn Maajah and it is Hasan.)

Al Barbahaaree (d. 329H) also said, “It is not permissible to fight the ruler or rebel against him even if he oppresses. This is due to the saying of the Messenger of Allah (salallaahu’alayheewasallam) to Abu Dharr al Ghifaaree, “Have patience, even if he (i.e. the Ameer) is an Abyssinian slave,” (Reported by Muslim.)

Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings on him) saying to the Ansaar, “Have patience until you meet me at the Pool,” (Reported by Bukharee from Usayd ibn Hudayr.)

There is no fighting against the ruler in the Sunnah. It causes destruction of the Religion and the worldly affairs.”

[Sharhus-Sunnah, (p. 43).]

O Muslim (may Allaah have mercy on you)! It is not for you to disobey Allaah (swt) and his Messenger (peace be upon him). The mu’minoon and muttaqoon rule only by the rule of Allaah (swt)! Hold tight and fast to the rope of Allaah that He (swt) extends down to us. Be not of the erring, forgetful, and ungrateful people. It is not for you make judgments harshly on your rulers. They are your rulers and they have much rights over you! Your neglecting your obligation in obeying and respecting them. Know this O Muslim (may Allaah have mercy on you) What you are doing is far more blameworthy, evil, and makes you astray from the guidance of Allaah. Be not of the proud and arrogant turn back to Allaah in humility and beg forgiveness from ar-Rahman, ar-Rahiim, at-Tawwab, ya Ghafoor and ya Ghaffar.

In Foundations of The Sunnah by Imam Ahmad Bin Hanbal Abul-Fadl Saalih it was said of Shaykh Hanbal after being whipped, “…..I have see men who have received a thousand lashes, but I have never seen a case as bad as this…” P.89

Shaykh Hanbal was slandered, whipped and trampled while being wrongfully imprisoned for years and are you aware of how he addressed his leader? The leader who was indeed responsible for his torment? Shaykh Hanbal spoke kindly and respectfully. He addressed his leader with ‘Ya Ameerul Mu’mineen!’ He never reviled his leader nor did he call for revolt against al-Mu’tasim after he was released.

Hanbal said, ‘And I heard him (I.e., Ahmad) say, ‘Everyone who spoke against me, then I have pardoned him except for an innovator, and I have pardoned Aboo Ishaaq, meaning, al-Mu’tasim, since I see that Allaah says:

“Let them pardon and forgive. Do you not love that Allaah should forgive you?”

And the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings on him) ordered Aboo Bakr to pardon in the case of Mistah – and how would it benefit you that Allaah should punish your Muslim brother because of you?'”

And in Ibn Taymeeyah’s Letters From Prison p.19-20, ‘Those who erred towards me, I pardon. As for those who abused the rights of Allaah, then let them repent and Allaah will forgive them. If they do not, then Allaah’s Rule should be imposed upon them. For if the human were to be thanked for his errors, I would have thanked everyone responsible in this matter for the subsequent benefits in this life and in the next. But Allaah is the most worthy of praise, and the believer seeks the good in all of His decrees. Similarily, those with good intention are thanked for that, and those who do good are praised for their work. But to those who perform bad deeds, we ask Allaah to forgive them. And this is what you are accustomed to of my manners, and what I know of this matter and I what I have experienced is great and more grave than what you perceive.

Nevertheless, the rights of people to one another, and the rights of Allaah upon them, are all under His Rule, and He will be the eventual arbiter.

Let us not forget the incident involving the Sideeq (truthful one) Aboo Bakr during the trial of Ifk about which some verses of the Quran were revealed. In it, Aboo Bakr promised that he would no longer assist the companion Mistah ibn Athathah. The reason. Behind Aboo Bakr’s decision to exclude Mistah ibn Athatha from the many Muslims he helped on a regular basis, was based on the latter’s involvement in the spreading of lies.

‘Al-Ifk here denotes a false accusation of unchastity. It refers to an incident, which occured on the Prophet Muhammad’s (peace and blessings on him) return from the campaign against the tribe of Mustaliq in the year 5AH. The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings on him)’s wife A’aisha, who had accompanied him on that expedition, was inadvertently left behind when the Muslims struck camp. After spending several hours alone, she was found by one of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings on him)’s companions, who led her to the next halting-place of the army. This incident gave rise to malicious insinuations of misconduct on the part of A’aisha, daughter of Aboo Bakr. These rumors were short-lived and her innocence was established beyond all doubt in the Qur’an 24:11-20′

So Allaah revealed:

Hence, (even if they have been wronged by slander,) let not those of you who have been graced with (Allaah’s) favor and ease of life ever become remiss in helping (the erring ones among) their near of kin, and the needy, and those who have forsaken the domains of evil for the sake of Allaah, but let them pardon and forbear. (For) do you not desire that Allaah should forgive your sins, seeing that Allaah is much forgiving, a dispenser of grace.
Qur’an 24:22

The reaction of Aboo Bakr when this verse was revealed was, “Of course! By Allaah, I wish for Him to forgive me.” Aboo Bakr, the father of the wrongly accused promptly returned to helping Mistah.

Qur’an 5:54-56

The Muslims of the past never revolted against their leaders. And what did Allaah’s Messenger (peace be upon him) say while he was riding his camel in Al-Hazwarah?

“By Allaah, you are the best land of Allaah, the most beloved land of Allaah to Allaah. Had I not been driven out of you, I would not have left you.”

Thus, Mecca is by far The Most Precious of places to reside and yet, Allaah had his Messenger (peace be upon him) migrated from it. In times of social strife and fitan migration to a Muslim land where one can dwell in safety is the Sunnah.
